According to a report by Russia’s Interfax news agency, Turkey, which is suffering a lot of damage to tourism from Russia, is creating a new airline exclusively to allow Russian citizens to vacation in the luxurious resorts on the Turkish coast. The new airline will be based in the city of Antalya, on Turkey’s Mediterranean coast.
The project of the new company, and the contacts that Turkish Airways would have already undertaken with Russian tour operators, suggest that the operation is at an advanced stage and will bring millions of Russian tourists to Turkey.
